all i want for Christ-mas is . . .

MY TWO FRONT TEETH!!!

yeah, i'm getting pretty big, folks. i have two little chompers, which are really enhancing my oatmeal and rice cereal eating abilities! from time to time as they are pushing their way through my gums, i get a little upset. i try to have a good attitude but sometimes it just hurts! also, my auntie em thinks i might be growing because i've been sleeping a lot the last few days. maybe i'm getting bigger or maybe i'm just getting another tooth! time will tell, i suppose. thanks for stopping by and checking on my progress!

mmm, mmm good

this evening my mama did something new. she put me in my chair (and i didn't really want to be in there) and then she took a spoon and put this white, mushy stuff in my mouth. now, i've put a lot of things in my mouth in my day, but nothing this . . . mushy. it was strange. it kinda filled my mouth. but i think maybe i liked it. i mean, i ate everything she gave me and i was actually a little upset that she didn't have any more.
i thought you might like to see some pictures. please don't judge me; my mom says all babies are messy when they first start eating. i'll work on table manners in a few years or so!

fourth:

i was tagged by miss lizzie.  i had to choose the fourth picture in my fourth file.  this is me and my nana in colorado.  we were getting ready to go to the cowboy show.  it was really fun.  in the picture i am wearing a cowgirl hat that belongs to bethany.  we were staying at her house.  

my mama says i don't have to tag anyone because it seems like most people have been tagged already!  hope you like my picture!  

baby, it's cold outside

   thankfully, target had really really cute clothes on their clearance rack!  

   my mama bought me these cute jeans and this adorable jacket for less than $12!  whoo-hoo!  (my mama said something about money not growing on trees.)

   i wish you could see my shoes a bit better.  they're from my aunt emily and i love them.  

   my nana bought me some other cute things so maybe i'll do another outfit post sometime soon.  meanwhile, i think maybe i'll work on crawling and see if i can master that.  if so, THAT will make a great post!  

when grandpa speaks

i listen. he tells me all kinds of things. he tells me to listen to my mama, and i try to obey. grandpa tells me about ice cream and he sings songs to me.  he has told me all kinds of great stories about yosemite.  three times now, he's taken me there and showed me beautiful sights from the Lord's creation.  

grandpa works on the computer and he shows me what he's doing.  sometimes he does the vacuuming and he tells me about that too!  he is full of wonderful stories and i love to hear him talk.  when my grandpa speaks, i listen.

all rabbit's friends and relations

when my mama was a little girl, her mama (my nana) and her papa (my grandpa) used to read a lot of winnie-the-pooh to her.  she knows many many poems by mr. a. a. milne by heart.  today she was reading some stories from "house at pooh corner" to me and we read about rabbit's many friends and relations.  i liked that!  sometimes i feel like rabbit; i have SO MANY friends and relations!
recently my mama and i visited southern california and it turns out i have a lot of aunts down there.  here, let me introduce some of them to you:

this is uncle bradley! he taught me a lot about basketball while i was there. he knows so much!

and this is miss ashley. ashley just had a baby of her own! mr. jacob matthew! he was born after i left so i didn't get to meet him.

and this is miss kellie. she is lukas' mom! lukas was a lot of fun! i was waiting and waiting to meet miss kellie!







oh my aunt shanley!! i had so much fun with her that my mama and i decided to take her home to auntie em's for the night! that was so great!

i got to see my aunt brendie again! that was so wonderful. i love my aunt brendie! my mama and i were excited because while we were there, she launched her new website!



and this is my uncle noah! it was his birthday and that is why my mama and i wanted to go down there to visit! we love our noah-san!

for a change, we stayed with auntie em instead of at aunt brendie's house. auntie em has chickens! this is her chicken coop. she and ryan built it themselves.

and she has turtles! three of them are hers and one is my mama's!




























i really liked visiting all my friends and relations. my mama didn't get a picture of my with miss shannon or miss jaime and that is just sad! i guess we'll have to visit again!
