it was really dry all around the lake but this was quite an amazing structure! when we left the dam, we headed to zion national park in utah. this is how i passed the time:
before we got to zion, we stopped at a little apple farm and my mama wanted me to walk in the grass a bit, since we wouldn't be seeing any more grass for a few days!
the mornings at zion national park were cold!
but soon and very soon it warmed up and we went hiking!
the next day we drove to bryce canyon national park. this is what i remember of the drive:
bryce canyon was spectacular (that's a new word i learned!)!
another word i learned was "hoodoo." that is what all those pillar-like rock formations are called. that evening we went on another hike.
here i am ready to get on the road and head to colorado!
somehow i don't really remember how we got to colorado:

Great pictures, Judah! You are getting so big!! I have traveled Judah style and I enjoy it. Well, I think I do anyway. I don't really recall. All I know is I love to be on a long trip, fall asleep, and wake up THERE!!
