it's my party . . .

and shannon made my mom cry!

i don't know if i was supposed to tell you that or not, but my mom did cry!  she says she's not always like this and i know she doesn't lie to me, but it's weird because she's been like this as long as i've known her!  

well, like i told you we had this great party yesterday!  a bunch 

of my favorite people were there and they brought me some really nice things!!  here, let me show you some of them:

my mom's friend, emily d., made this amazing blanket for me!  i really like it because it has pictures of my mom and dad on it and it's really soft!!  also, i like the fun colors!  

emily s. (who was the mastermind behind my great party), made me a pirate quilt!!!  she stitched it really tight so when my mom and i go home and our things are handwashed, it will hold together!  my mom says that i'm 'posed to call emily s. my aunt because she and my mom are like sisters.  so, thanks, aunt emi for a wonderful party and sooo many nice presents!  i can't wait 'til i'm big enough for those cowboy boots!!

my nana came to my party with her sister sarah! 

we had a fun trip together!  they got me great books because my mom says she's going to read a lot to me.  my aunt sarah bought me richard scary's "cars and trucks and things that go!" 

 my mama says it was one of her favorite books when she was a little girl and i don't have to be afraid of the author's name.  and my nana got me the cutest elephant.

 my mom that she made the lotion and the butt paste and the washcloths she got me but i think she was kidding!  

my aunt christine made a really tasty carrot cake for everyone and my mama put a special cake topper on it that came from our friend kathy k! it was a beautiful cake!  and did i mention it was tasty too?  

i got some good smelling lotion and shampoo from my mom's friend ashley.  she's going to have a baby boy and my m

om says we can play together!  

this is kellie (levi's mama), and kellie (lukas' mama), and katie!  i was so happy they could come to my party!  

i know i said already that shannon made my mom cry and maybe i should explain that.  you see, aunt emily asked shannon if she could talk a little bit about being a Godly mom.  my mama and shannon have only been friends for a short time, but they seem to have been through a lot together and become close because of it.  so, it was really nice for my mama to hear such encouragement from a close friend whom she looks up to so much!  thank you, shannon!  my mom is so grateful for you!  

my mom is also telling me (she should get her own blog) to mention that aunt brendie did so much work to make this party happen too.  unfortunately, she was behind the camera a lot and we can't seem to find a picture of her to share right now.  it's 

the same with my aunt christine who made that great cake!!  sometime soon i'll have pictures of them to put up.  i'm sorry you're missing out now.  they are both beautiful girls!  they are in the

 group shot, though, so maybe i should show you that!
